Beyond Human environment art challenge - New Texel

The first project for the beyond human environment challenge. I wanted to go for a hypermodern look, referencing architects like Zaha Hadid and Santiago Calatrava. After the polar caps melt the sea level rises drasticly, and people have to find ways to survive. Giant, self sustaining, floating islands were created to be as pleasant, green and safe as possible. I had a lot of fun with this one. It was very challenging because of the giant mess of shapes!

Geometry was created using a combination of x-particles and conventional modelling tools
Thanks everyone!
